Mark Cartwright joins DekBoard team as new Commercial Director

Harnessing 20 years of sector knowledge and expertise, encompassing all perspectives of the industry ranging from and including sales, installation and manufacturing, Mark has been brought on board to help identify new opportunities and drive forward growth.  He will also work closely with our team to further develop product innovation, whilst championing the DekBoard brand within the industry.

His position will hold a longer-term directive to work collaboratively with, and help further develop our Authorised Installer Network, in addition to helping build the DekBoard brand based on the quality of our products and services within the leisure, domestic and commercial sectors.

Mark’s comprehensive capabilities have seen him excel within all aspects of account management, contract negotiation, product development, and sales and customer liaison over the course of his career, delivering marked results in terms of sales growth and product awareness. In bringing his proficient skillset to the team, he hopes to make his mark, helping to support the success and growth of DekBoard.

“I’m delighted to have this great opportunity to progress with and further develop DekBoard’s innovative decking system,” Mark says.  “I believe that together, with the support of our committed DekBoard team, we have an exciting future ahead, rich with the potential to make our quality brand flourish.

“Whilst recent times have been indisputably challenging for the hospitality and leisure markets, sight of the Government’s recently presented road map towards easing and moving out of lockdown, gives much needed hope and focus to reignite the UK caravan and holiday parks and in turn, encourage related product sales.

“Given the uncertainty that still surrounds European and International travel, it could be that the ‘UK staycation’ will consequently thrive and create multiple opportunities to benefit our sector.  Although caution is still key in successfully moving forward, it’s also a time for DekBoard to look to the future with a sense of positivity. “I’m very much looking forward to working alongside the DekBoard sales team and using my experience to bring a fresh new perspective to their direction and methodology,” adds Mark.
