DekBoard announces new Business Development Manager to support customers in Lincolnshire

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Daniel Summers as our new Business Development Manager for Lincolnshire and the surrounding area.

Daniel began his career in sales across several different industries, before moving into the caravan and caravan park sector over ten years ago. It was because of this formidable combination of sales experience and extensive knowledge of the caravan park industry that DekBoard felt Daniel was the right fit for this role, as Mark Cartwright, Commercial Director at DekBoard, explains:

“Having worked for Haven for five years before joining us, Daniel has developed a thorough understanding of our industry and the needs of our customers. This, combined with his extensive sales experience, means he has the ability to provide a truly tailored service to both our existing and potential customers.”

Daniel will be responsible for building the DekBoard brand in Lincolnshire & the surrounding area, guiding existing customers through their DekBoard experience and introducing new customers to the many benefits of DekBoard’s range of PVC decking, balustrades, and accessories.

“Working within the industry, I was aware of DekBoard and its reputation for quality products and service, so being able to join the team is a fantastic opportunity,” comments Daniel.

“Although this position is predominantly sales focused, there is a technical aspect to the role in terms of understanding how our decking is manufactured, fabricated and constructed, which is a huge attraction for me. I believe that gaining this additional technical knowledge will also help me better advise our customers on the best solutions for them.”

Daniel adds: “DekBoard does have competitors out there, which will provide a challenge to me in my new role, but one that I will relish. I’m very much looking forward to building strong relationships with our customers in the Lincolnshire & the surrounding area, and helping their businesses reach their maximum potential.”

Mark concludes: “Daniel is joining us at an extremely busy – but positive – time, with the trend for ‘staycations’, which began during the COVID-19 pandemic, continuing. This trend means that many holiday parks and hospitality venues are looking to improve or extend their facilities with outdoor areas.

“We would like to welcome Daniel to the DekBoard team during this exciting time. We know that he will be a valuable addition to our team and are confident that he will be an asset to our customers in and around Lincolnshire.”
